Art (Smith) - We will be learning about upcycled art, and creating a piece of art out of old books. If you have any old books that you're not using/wanting anymore please send them with your kids!
Religion (Nittler) -TESTING
English/Writing (Gillett)- Students are finishing grammar unit involving subject/predicate. We will begin the rough draft for the VFW Essay Contest entitled "Why I Appreciate American Veterans." They will also be finishing Vocabulary Unit 3. Test will be Tuesday of next week.
Spelling (Gillett) - Working on Unit 7 "Affixes" onFriday. Will distribute and discuss Unit 8, Suffixes to Words Ending in Silent E."
Math (Duree) - Working on classifying different types of polygons. Our next test will be on Thursday, October 9th (next week)
Reading (Gillett) - Will continue studying various types of literature in Unit 1 "Proving Yourself."
